The question for today is:
If I’d had a perfect childhood, I’d grown up to be a ...
writer. I've always wanted to be a writer, even with my childhood. But, with the perfect childhood I would have made it to college, been able to have classes on creative writing and my progress would be further than it is at this time.

I don't think anybody really has the perfect childhood. In anycase, you're moving forward on being a writer now! Keep building the momentum.
Terry, I agree that no one has the perfect childhood.
My childhood is what motivated/s me to write in the first place, and what I draw upon to continue.
I agree with Terry; what is important is that you are writing now. :)
Lynn, I believe my childhood is also what sent me in this direction. Reading was an escape, but with writing I could create the world I escaped to.
