Create.
Create something. This can be a story, a song, or even a cake - anything that involves creating. And it doesn't have to be your goal; you may choose something in the opposite direction. Painters write a poem, Writers draw a picture, and it doesn't have to turn out good. The important thing is to have fun. Your child will appreciate it.
Tasks for today: Morning Pages, Affirmations, and Create.
We come up on the end of week one, how is everyone feeling? Is your artist child happy? Do you feel more relaxed and open to your creative side?

I love creating new recipes. I'm glad that counts for this exercise!
Really. So you are also a cook. I only know simple recipes but I've always longed to know more about cooking.
Okay, I drew a picture. It was good in no way. Trust me this is not my negative voice talking. It is a scene based on a new story I'm just starting. The scene is vivid in my head. Hopefully I can bring it more alive in my words than I did in the drawing, lol.
I wrote out some ideas for new recipes I'd like to try real soon. They are cookie recipe ideas.
Susanne, sounds wonderful! I guess I somehow missed out on the cooking creativity. Lasagna is my most extravagant recipe. Other than that I'm down to the normal pork chops, fried chicken, and hamburgers. Needless to say, meals are boring around here. I do make a mean peanut butter cookie though. :)
