Throughout next week, I will be posting some poems of mine that have been previously published in anthologies. I hope you enjoy them.
I still dabble from time to time with poetry, but when I was younger it was my main outlet of expression. Poetry is a wonderful form of communication.
My favorite poet would be Emily Dickinson.

I'd love to read your poems! I really like "The Lady of Shalott" by Lord Tennyson. What's your favorite poem by Emily Dickenson?
In high school, I did a report on Emily Dickinson.
The poem that has stuck with me over the years is, "Because I Could Not Stop for Death".
My poems that were published are mostly love poems. I have spiral notebooks full of old poems. Near the end of my collection, the poems turn darker and more intense. One day, I plan to dig them out and submit some of them.
My favorite poet is E.A. Poe.
