the Artist's Way - Week One - Day Three

Note: I've tested the scheduling of posts and for some reason its just not working. As I have to work the rest of the week, I will post this now. I'll continue to post each post the afternoon before the scheduled day. Look forward to comments to these exercises, but I do understand if you can't keep up daily. Pick the lessons you want to do and feel free to save some for later.

Imaginary Life.

If you had three more times to live, what would you do in each of them? Be creative: where would you live, who would accompany you in your new life, and what would you do during your days?

Tasks for today: Morning pages, Affirmations, and Imaginary Life.

Okay three lives: actress in Hollywood! Figure Skater in Canada, and medieval Princess in England. I'd take you to my new life. :) And my dog, Jedi.

Sounds like some great lives, Aubrie. This was a fun assignment, wasn't it?

As usual, I can't keep up with my own schedule. Let's see: Painter in Paris, Writer in a cabin somewhere in the woods, a secluded location, and a famous tarot reader in New York. Okay not as exotic as yours, but I don't have much time to ponder. Of course they are suppose to be quickly answered with first thoughts, anyway.

I've always wanted to be an artist for a rock band, like Roger Dean who did all the Yes album covers and stage sets. I did get to do it for two years, but then I made big mistake #2... see comment on "Artists Way: Day One"

A children's book writer living in Montana is my second. ( still working on that )

And three... a cross country bicycle tour leader.

Don, That sounds exciting. Did you get to travel with the band? :) Good luck with your art and your writing.
